You will be given a waiting list number. Once your name comes to the top of the waiting list you will be sent a letter. Those scheduled for an eligibility interview must appear at the Avalon office. Spanish documents and assistance will be provided upon request.

During the interview, the applicant’s family dynamic, housing priority, total family income and citizenship/immigration status are verified.  Once the family income verified and all the requested documentation is received, the application will be screened for a criminal background check of all applicants 1 year or over.  A landlord contact may also be conducted for all programs except HCV.
